Create a new Issue Type to be checked by the scanner

Hi, I would like to create a new issue type for the scanner to run. It isn't a specific issue on a host what I want. Instead, I would like to check a regex when I'm running a scan against an host. Is this possible? How? Thanks, Gerardo

Hi Are you using Burp Suite Enterprise or Burp Suite Professional? If you are using Burp Suite Professional, I would recommend that you check out the extension "Burp Bounty, Scan Check Builder" as it will allow you to create your own scan checks and issues quickly and easily. Alternatively, you could try writing your own extension. Further details on writing your own extension can be found here: https://portswigger.net/burp/extender

Burp Professional. Can I Write an extension that can be added to the scanner? Is there any example available ? In the mean time, I will start reading the extender documentation. Thank you, Gerardo
