Connection Reset Error when using Burp Proxy

Dheeraj | Last updated: Oct 16, 2020 06:01AM UTC

Hi, I'm getting "Connection Reset" error in Event Log whenever I try to intercept traffic from Mobile Device(Android/iOS) and it shows no internet in the Mobile(physical device&emulator). Internet connection is working good and device works fine as soon as the proxy is disabled. However I have not faced any issue while intercepting traffic from the system. I'm using Burp Suite Community Edition v2020.9.2 on MacOS.

Hi When you say you have not faced any issue while intercepting traffic from the system, is that referring to your host machine or the mobile device? Are you trying to intercept traffic from an app, or from a web browser in your mobile device? Would you be able to drop us an email with a screen recording of the issue to support@portswigger.net?

Could you tell me the operating systems of the mobile devices that you have had these issues with?

I am facing Error: Connection reset issue just after upgrading to latest verison. Before that I was using 2021.3.something version and now upgraded to 2021.4.3 and start getting this issue. I am using SSO login where some idp is defined and when my login goes to idp I get this error. 5 Min before it was working fine. How to fix this issue ? Also can you point me old release 2021.3.x so that I would be able to continue my task

Hi

You can find our current and previous releases here

On the latest version, could you try disabling HTTP/2 support under "Project options > HTTP > HTTP/2"? Does that have any effect on your issue?
