Configuring Burp Suite Active Scan to Exclude Method Type in Insertion Point

I would like to know if it is feasible to customize the configuration of the Burp Suite active scan so that it excludes the method type in the insertion point. In other words, if the API's default method is "GET," the injected request should only be tested with the "GET" method and should not include any other method types such as "POST" or "PUT."
