Hi Does this happen with all sites you try to access? Are you able to access our deliberately vulnerable test site https://ginandjuice.shop? If you access the same site using a browser that is not proxied via burp, can you connect to the site? If so, does your normal browser use a proxy server? Are you using a VPN?

Hello. I am a begineer and I also have the same issue with the embedded browser. I have tried opening https://ginandjuice.shop but when i forward it brings up an empty webpage with an empty intercept. I have tried installing certificates on an external firefox browser but the certificate was rejected. all https webpages are not secure. I would just like a fix on the embedded burp's browser. I am using windows 10 and my internet is working jusst finr, all webpages are opening well in external browsers.

Update: Firefox works after I changed the port number to 8081. Now, https://portswigger.net can not open, but YouTube, Reddit can open.

What do you see if you use Burp's embedded browser now? Are there any messages in the browser or the event log on Burp's Dashboard?

I actually solved it using this thread. https://forum.portswigger.net/thread/i-am-unable-to-open-any-https-website-after-updating-to-v2021-8-e9b8b3ac
