Compare site maps not displaying contents of map 2's request and response

Alex | Last updated: Nov 26, 2020 09:53AM UTC

I am trying to use Burp's compare site maps feature to test authorization issues for a client. The request/response pair of map 2 is not displayed. The request was successfully made, which is reflected in the fact that Inspector shows the response headers. I am running on Windows 10 Pro. Here is a screenshot of the issue: https://ibb.co/0J8Qff9

Have you tried using these extensions from the BApp store? - https://portswigger.net/bappstore/f9bbac8c4acf4aefa4d7dc92a991af2f - https://portswigger.net/bappstore/30d8ee9f40c041b0bfec67441aad158e - https://portswigger.net/bappstore

Hi Liam, Thank you for the response! I will look into these extensions. Regardless, the fact that the second request/response pair is not being displayed does strike me as a bug.

We'll look into this issue and get back to you. Did you find the extensions useful?

Yes! Autorize is very nice and will become part of my usual repertoire. AuthMatrix seemed like overkill for what I was doing, but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks again.

Hi Alex. We've been unable to reproduce your issue. Are you able to reproduce this issue consistently? If so, could you provide steps to help us reproduce?

Hi Liam. I am not able to reproduce this issue on the most recent version of Burp (updated this morning), even when loading the old Burp project. This is despite the fact that it was a consistent problem last week (maybe the UI update changed something?). I'm not willing to share the project file as it contains client data. Sorry I can't help, but on the bright side it seems to not be a problem any more.
