Community Edition shuts down unexpectedly

Just started with HackerOne and while going through the "Getting Started With Burp" YouTube video Community Edition just shuts down after going though the first trivial capture the flag when I try to change the scope ip address to try the next flag. Then when I restart it I get a "Delete Old Temporary File" dialog box and whether I select "Leave" or "Delete", Community Edition will just shut down unexpectedly and ask if I want to send a bug report etc... The next time I try to start BurpSuite Community Edition it will give me a different set of files to choose to leave or delete and just shuts down again basically immediately or right after I start a Temporary Project.

...and by "Community Edition" I mean "Burp Suite Community Edition" if that's not clear

Thanks for your message. Which version of Burp Suite Community and what OS are you using? Are you using the installed version or using the JAR file and launching it from the CLI?
