Are you able to access the site from your machine? If you send a request to the site in Repeater, do you receive back a valid response?

Hello Hannah, Thanks for the response. Yes i am able to access site from my machine. If i send request to repeater it gives valid response. Basically it's a windows authentication application,so i use NTLM and it works fine for me previously it throws authentication error. But now it throws communication error when run active or passive scan.

Are you using NTLM v1 or v2? Is it working when you proxy the site?

Could you try disabling the embedded browser and see if that improves the situation? You can find this option under "Scan configuration > Crawling > Miscellaneous > Embedded browser options".
