CLI option "--help" doesn't work on Windows

Hello, on Windows x64 + Oracle v1.8.0_112 (from installation bundle), the "BurpSuitePro.exe" binary doesn't print the Help menu when called with "--help" (it just stops after a few seconds). However, other options like "--config-file" and "--user-config-file" work. Under Linux, everything is OK. Regards, Nicolas

Hi Nicolas, The exe file doesn't open a command prompt. In 99% of cases this is what people want, but it stops things like help displaying. In your case, you can do this: C:\Program Files\BurpSuitePro>jre\bin\java -jar burpsuite_pro.jar --help Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Option "--diagnostics" is buggy too (on Windows), but in a different way. Nothing is printed to screen, and Burp starts as usual. It looks like the option is totally ignored...
