Chromium auto deleting browser history

The chromium browser version "127.0.6533.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)" that comes with Burp Suite has been deleting history entries for website which I visited in the past. I lost a lot of URL that I visited. Google chrome version "128.0.6613.113 (Official Build) (64-bit)" doesn't have this issue. Why did it remove the history without asking me.

Hi Is the history deleted every time you open Burp's embedded browser?

Hi, No history only old history was deleted. I think I found the reason for this mishap. Chromium source code reveals that it deletes history which is 90 days old, I think that's how burp suite chromium browser lost all history. Chrome (without sync) and chromium (without any patches) also have this behavior. Do you know if Burp Suite patches the upstream chromium browser source code that would allows us to modifies this behavior?

Hi Although we do use a slightly modified version of Chrome, this is not one of the behaviors that we alter. I hope that helps to answer your question.
