Certificate error while using embedded browser.

Hi team, I have recently got a burp pro license for me. While using the embedded browser, I am getting invalid certificate error. I guess, this browser is already configured with burp certificate. Is there any other configuration I need to do

I checked the certificates inside embedded browser in by burp suite and could find Burp certificate added there. Please suggest me how to fix this. Do I need to import certificate every time I am using embedded browser?

Hi, The Burp CA certificate still needs to be trusted in order for the connection to be secure. You can do this by adding the certificate to the embedded browser, as normal, by following the instructions for doing so with Chrome, as detailed here: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/getting-started/proxy-setup/certificate/chrome

Hi there, I'm having the same issue with Burp Suite Professional on Windows. It works fine on Kali. I have followed the steps in https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/getting-started/proxy-setup/certificate/chrome and I still get the message that the certificate is untrusted.

Hi Lian, Just to confirm, you have followed the instructions below to install the certificate (as noted in the main instructions for Chrome, on Windows the certificate needs to be installed from Internet Explorer): https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/external-browser-config/certificate/ca-cert-internet-explorer Are you able to send us an email at support@portswigger.net and include some screenshots of how you have installed the certificate so that we can see this more clearly?
