Hi, i was wondering if it's possible to capture traffic from a whole .exe software, the software doesn't have a proxy configuration option so is there any solutions, if there is not, would capturing my whole computer trafic work, if it works how can i do that LOL, thx

You could try using an invisible proxy: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/tools/proxy/options/invisible - https://portswigger.net/support/using-burp-suites-invisible-proxy-settings-to-test-a-non-proxy-aware-thick-client-application You will need to run Burp as a superuser in order to bind to ports lower than 1024. Burp will only be able to intercept HTTP/HTTPS communications, so depending on your use case, a different tool may be more appropriate.

if i put example.com in hosts file, will it only capture example.com or will it also capture subdomains, if it captures only exmaple.com, will putting *.example.com make it capture subdomains?
