Can't open newly downloaded burpsuite on my kali linux

Hi, The version of Burp that you are trying to use is quite old so will, as you are experiencing, have issues working with the latest version of Java. If you want to use Burp 1.7.30 then you will need to obtain and use an earlier Java version - I believe that Java version 11 should work with this version.
