Can't access websites when using burp suite

Hello, I have the community version of Burpsuite and I can't access websites when using it. I use Firefox and I configured the proxy like I saw on a tutorial.

Hi, Can you provide us with some more information about what happens when you try and access websites when you are using Burp - are you receiving any error messages or are the web pages simply not loading? Do you have the Intercept is on setting configured within the Proxy -> Intercept tab within Burp? If so, can you switch this to Intercept is off?

I have the intercept on and I can switch this to intercept off and it works but Mozilla Firefox is very slow and I have an Alert Message each time I try to access a website.

Hi, If you have it switched on then that means you will be required to manually forward each request that your browser is making. We would not generally recommend having this setting switched on unless you want to capture a particular request (if you have it switched off, the traffic still passes through Burp and appears in the Proxy -> HTTP history tab but you do not have to manually do anything). What does your alert message say? Have you installed the Burp CA Certificate in your browser so that you can proxy HTTPS sites?

Hi, when I try accessing a website with the intercepter off Firefox prints "Software is preventing Mozilla from safely accessing the website" and when I press the "Learn More" button to try to access it anyway Mozilla sends me to "Page Not Found..."

How to install CA Certificate ?

I downloaded the CA Certificate from Burp Suite and I imported it in my Mozilla's certificate list then I looked for it in the list but I couldn't find it. There was no Error message so I don't understand what happened.

Hi, Did you following the steps in the link below in order to install the Burp CA Certificate in Firefox? https://portswigger.net/support/installing-burp-suites-ca-certificate-in-firefox

I did exactly what they said but it still doesn't work.
