Hi Gangambika. Thanks for your message. What behavior do you observe when the session is killed? Does Burp crash? Could you try using the platform installer version of Burp, or using Java 16.

The tool is completely hanged . The linux machine where burp is running is also hanged . I tried it with Java 16 , but I see the same behaviour . How do I install platform version ? Do I need to add the license again separately to this ?

Can I start burp with platform version (linux installer ?) from command line ?

The platform installer is available on our website, you shouldn't need a new license activation on the same machine. - https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/getting-started - https://portswigger.net/burp/releases Let us know if this helps.

Thanks for your response . Do we need a desktop environment to start the tool with platform version ? Or please let me know how to launch tool with .sh file via cli . Thanks .
