BurpSuite Enterprise - Agent Health Status: Ouf of Disk Space

Oliver | Last updated: Oct 12, 2018 09:12AM UTC

Hi everybody, Agents (1.0.04beta) seem to require at least 5GB free space in /tmp. That's what enterpriseAgent.log tells me: 2018-10-12 11:01:50 WARN n.p.enterprise.common.health.e - HealthCheckResult{type=10001, name=/dev/mapper/vg_sys-lv_tmp, healthy=false, message=file store /dev/mapper/vg_sys-lv_tmp needs at least 5368709120 bytes free but only has 3764817920, error=null, details={fileStore=/dev/mapper/vg_sys-lv_tmp, thresholdBytes=5368709120, usableBytes=3764817920}} [RxCachedThreadScheduler-1] It is possible to configure the agent to use a different directory for its temporary files? agent.config does not contain such an option. Thanks in advance. Regards, Oliver

Hi Oliver, That space is required for the scanning process where we can be storing the details of many HTTP interactions. Unfortunately it's not possible to configure this in the 1.0.04beta. We are already working on a fix for this as it has been a problem for some users. In an upcoming release we will be changing this to use the data directory specified during installation, which will allow it to be configured.
