Burpsuite Aborting checks due to errors

Jae | Last updated: Dec 03, 2022 06:19AM UTC

Hello Team, I tried install BurpSuite on my Kali machine and after I successfully installed Burpsuite, I could not open any browser. So I did the Health Check for BurpSuite Browser and got this error Aborting Checks due to erros. Unable to start browser: /home/kali/.BurpSuite/burpbrowser/108.0.5359.71/chrome17:SyntaxError: Unterminated Quoted String how should I solve this problem?

Hi Jay, Just to confirm, which version of Burp are you currently running? If you navigate to the /home/kali/.BurpSuite/burpbrowser/108.0.5359.71 directory and run the command ./chrome, does the browser launch independently of Burp or do you still encounter issues?

Heya, just popping in with the same issue. I am currently attempting do this with the standalone jar file on ARM64 Kali (if the context helps) When I run ./chrome (as a non-root user) I get: zsh: exec format error: ./chrome When I run sudo ./chrome I get: ./chrome: 17: Syntax error: Unterminated quoted string I am currently in the folder path: /home/parallels/.BurpSuite/burpbrowser/108.0.5359.94
