burpbrowser folder disk usage issue

When burp pro is upgraded on Windows, the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\BurpSuite\burpbrowser folder retains older versions of burp browser instead of removing them, resulting in increasing disk usage. Currently this folder is using 1.26gb space for me. Thanks for getting in touch. Are you using the installed version of Burp Suite Professional or are you using the jar files to launch Burp?

Thanks for the update. When I compare this against the settings on my Windows setup, I'm seeing details for the ConfigLibrary in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\BurpSuite, so my setup seems to be slightly different from yours. Would you be happy to email us (support@portswigger.net) with some more information so I can try and see if I can replicate what you're seeing? It would be good to know the following: - which versions have you upgraded from and to? - Do you only see the burpbrowser folders in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\BurpSuite? - What did you choose as the installation path?

hi, same issue here on linux, i use the jar file to launch burp, and download the jar file when update. The content of my burpbrowser directory: 0.117 80.0.3987.132 83.0.4103.116 84.0.4147.125 85.0.4183.83 87.0.4280.66 0.144 81.0.4044.122 83.0.4103.61 84.0.4147.89 86.0.4240.183 80.0.3987.122 81.0.4044.138 84.0.4147.105 85.0.4183.121-1 86.0.4240.198 and all with the same content inside: LICENSE chrome_sandbox manifest.properties resources MEIPreload crashpad_handler nacl_helper resources.pak chrome icudtl.dat nacl_helper_bootstrap swiftshader chrome-wrapper libEGL.so nacl_helper_nonsfi v8_context_snapshot.bin chrome_100_percent.pak libGLESv2.so nacl_irt_x86_64.nexe xdg-mime chrome_200_percent.pak locales product_logo_48.png xdg-settings so the size of this directory is a bit too much: 5,4G burpbrowser
