Burp Suite Professional / Enterprise Install Question

Is there an issue with installing both the Burp Suite Professional and Burp Suite Enterprise Edition on the same Windows machine or is it recommended to install each on their own Windows instance?

Hi Chad, There is no issue with installing both editions on the same machine. In the first instance you would just need to make sure that the port you setup your proxy listener on for Burp Professional is different to the port that you use when installing Burp Enterprise. The only other consideration would be the system load (particularly if you were using the bundled Enterprise option and had your agent(s) also installed on this machine). The system requirements for Burp Enterprise are fairly substantial so if the intention was to use both products on a regular basis you would need to make sure that you had the system resources available to do so.
