Burp Suite Pro Linux installer overwrites vmoptions

Hi Portswigger team, the Burp Suite Pro installer unfortunately overwrites the ~/Applications/BurpSuitePro/BurpSuitePro.vmoptions file each time I install a new version using using the Linux .sh installer. This is a bit annoying because it reset the XX:MaxRAMPercentage parameter to 50, which means my notebook will freeze after some time because Burp ate up all the remaining RAM. Maybe the installer behavior could be that it doesn't change the file if it already exists? Kind regards, Dan

Hi Dan You can create a user.vmoptions file in the same folder so that the RAM setting you have configured is not overwritten when Burp upgrades. I hope this information helps!
