Hi, Do you have the "Intercept is on" configuration set under the Proxy -> Intercept tab in Burp? If so, any requests from the browser will have been intercepted and waiting for you to perform some manual action on them under the Proxy -> Intercept tab. As these requests have not reached the destination webserver at that point, the site will not load. We would generally recommend that you have this set to "Intercept is off" unless you want to capture requests in real time. With "Intercept is off" configured, the requests will still pass through Burp (and are viewable in the Proxy -> HTTP history tab) but you do not have to perform any manual action on them for them to reach the destination web server. Just didn't understand what did you mean by "As these requests have not reached the destination webserver at that point, the site will not load." Can you explain me better?

Hi, When you have Burp configured and running on your system the requests that are being made by your browser to connect to websites will be first sent to Burp rather than directly to the destination website (as you will have configured Burp to be used as a proxy). If you have the "Intercept is on" configuration set, as noted in my earlier message, these requests will be being held in Burp waiting for you to perform some action on them. They will not have reached the destination webserver at that point so the website will not load. With Burp running on your machine you have added an additional link in the chain for connecting to websites e.g. requests and responses will be sent from your browser to Burp and then Burp will send them to the destination web server.
