Burp Search -> Show this Request in HTTP History

Hello! I enjoy the main Burp search functionality (Burp -> Search menu option) which allows you to look for a particular search term within the requests/responses in the Proxy history. It's great when trying to find the origin of some data that came from the web server. A feature I would really love to see added to this functionality is "Show this Request in HTTP History". Once you've used the separate search window to find the correct request, you could right-click the request (or select it by some other means) and use this feature to bring the request into focus in the Proxy History. I realize Proxy History's "filter by search term" can be used to accomplish something similar results, however, it is not as powerful as the main burp search as you are not able to specify which sources to search (Req headers, resp headers, req body, resp body, etc).

Hi We're currently working on improvements that will give you much more flexibility in the Proxy History filter, which should cover what you need, so keep an eye on our downloads page for new releases :)
