Burp Pro Licensing Model

With the current subscription model, Burp Pro is assigned on a per-user basis, but there seems to be a cap on the amount of licenses a person can actually use before having to request more. I can see this being problematic with the way virtual machines are expendable and can eat up licenses rather quickly. Is there any way to implement a licensing model similar to what Microsoft does with their 365 products, or how Netflix allows a certain number of device logins? Say a person gets a single license key upon subscribing, and this key allows for X amount of active installations which can be monitored in their account portal. This would make it much more streamlined for people who need to setup a VM for a client pentest and trash it afterwords. No big deal, just remove that activation from the portal and free up that license for the next one.

Hi Thanks for getting in touch. Could you drop an email to support@portswigger.net and let us know how often your users are creating new virtual machines? If you can let us know the details of the license you are using, we can also take a closer look at your license usage patterns and see what we can do to help.
