Burp is keep asking the license key

Hi, I have BURP installed on one of my windows server 2012 R2 machine. For some times it is always asking me to enter license key when I login to the machine. If I logged in to the machine and exit BURP after adding license key and again open it no message appears to enter license key again and it works fine. Can anyone suggest what is the issue and why is it asking license key every time I login to the machine? Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for your message. Can you tell us more about your setup, please? Are you logging into the machine with the same user account each time? Is this a physical machine or a VM? The activation reference for Burp is stored in the Windows Registry under the Java Preferences Store (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\burp\licence1). Does your user have access to this registry location?

Thanks for the update. Could the VM be reverting to a point before the license was applied? Can you see the license activation reference for Burp in the Windows Registry under the Java Preferences Store (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\burp\licence1)?
