Burp Headless POST Method scanning

Hi Team, I am looking for some help related to Burp Headless (command-line) where i am trying to scanning a post method based API. Is there a way to do so using burp headless? I referred this https://github.com/NetsOSS/headless-burp#scenario-d-scan-more-than-just-get-requests-use-data-derived-from-running-functional-tests-as-input-to-the-scan but creating burp state is not possible in my case. Do we have something where we can pass POST request as input to be processed by burp in headless mode.

Additionally, could you provide some more information on your "POST method-based API", please? Is it publicly accessible?
