Burp Downgraded from 2022.5.1 to 2022.3.9 , Wtf?

Why did burp suite just downgrade itself from 2022.5.1 to 2022.3.9 ?

This just created a bug actually, I cannot access the burp project I had just worked on because of the upgrade, the following error message is spawned when trying to open it: "This project file has been accessed by a more recent version of Burp." :/ I will clone the .burp and try to access it anyway, hoping its gonna work.

Hi Joel, The 2022.5.1 release was pushed back to the 'early adopter' channel for a period of time (we were in the process of investigating a possible issue that was impacting Burp Enterprise) so Burp would have seen 2022.3.9 as the latest, stable version and prompted you to update to that particular version. We have now pushed the 2022.5.1 release back to the stable channel so it is likely that you will be asked to update to this version again. Hopefully that explains the situation.
