Burp collaborator settings don't take immediate effect

I'm using Burp Professional 2021.12.1. I've been running into some issues with the Burp Collaborator configuration. It seems that the settings you define don't immediately take effect. So if we change the settings and then start a scan, it will still use the old Burp collaborator settings. In order for the settings to take effect, we actually have to define the settings and then restart Burp.
