Burp Collaborator Certificate Issues

Hi, I'd like to raise a very interesting problem. We are currently running a on-prem Collaborator which is only available over our VPN. Everything worked fine until version 2022.05. Then users experienced following issue in the Health Check: "Polling server connection Error A TLS error occurred when connecting to..." We investigated the issue and found the following issue with our current certificate. It only uses *.contoso.com but our collaborator works on b.contoso.com So a certificate for *.b.contoso.com is needed. Therefore we created a new certificate and installed it. With the outcome, that after the restart of the service, the collaborator server is up, but the pulling service is not. Is there: 1. Some best practice for the wildcard tls certificate if run on-prem? 2. Some way to investigate the polling service issue a little further? All kind of help is very much appriciated. Best Regards
