Built in Chromium browser crashes after computer goes into sleep

Lukezilla | Last updated: Mar 01, 2023 12:03PM UTC

On Windows 11 every time the computer goes into sleep mode the built in Chromium browser crashes. When opened again it shows a message that the browser was not closed properly and if I want to restore the session.

Hi, We are aware that there are some issues with the embedded browser being closed when the machine is put into 'sleep' or 'hibernation' mode. We do have an existing bug report to investigate this issue so I will add your ticket to this report. Thank you again for reporting this.

Hello, the same happens on macOS 13.2.1 (and probably other versions) as well. Thx in advance for your effort to solve this issue :)

Seeing the same behaviour on the latest Burp Suite on Windows 10

Hi, To confirm, which specific version of Burp are you using when you experience this behaviour?

Just want to confirm that updating my Burp version fixed this for me. I was having this issue on MacOS with Burp 2023.2.4 and updating to Burp 2023.4.3 resolved it.
