Basic setup w/ Firefox hangs without error indefinitely

Alex | Last updated: Aug 31, 2020 07:08PM UTC

I've got the standard setup with Firefox. I'm using the default proxy settings, grabbed the CA cert and installed it in Firefox's certificates, and set the browser to proxy all traffic to 127.0.0.1:8080, matching the active proxy listener. With intercept running, opening Firefox gives a quick ping in the Intercept output of: GET /success.txt HTTP/1.1 Host: detectportal.firefox.com User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0 Accept: */* Accept-Language: en-US,en;q=0.5 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate Cache-Control: no-cache Pragma: no-cache Connection: close After that, trying to hit any site (HTTP or HTTPS) just hangs indefinitely, with no error logs in BurpSuite and no complaints on the browser, just loading with no change. Only logs I see are the proxy start info log. I'm on OSX (latest) and have no firewall/anti-virus present, and have tested with using different ports with the same results. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
