Bambdas regex support

Juan | Last updated: Jun 06, 2024 03:51PM UTC

Hi guys, In my job, I typically test hundreds of URLs, many of which only differ by a number in the middle of the path (e.g., https://path/to/123/something/else). I have found that Bambda is very useful when applying filters. However, I believe it would benefit greatly from regex support. With regex, I could filter an entire "group" of URLs instead of just a single one. Could you please consider adding this feature? I think it would be incredibly useful. Thank you, and have a great day!

Bambdas enable you to run Java-based code. As Java includes regex you can use this in your Bambdas https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/extensions/bambdas You can find further resources and examples here, along with Bambdas that have been submitted by users within the Burp community, so you may be able to find some useful ideas that will give you a starting point. https://github.com/PortSwigger/bambdas I hope this helps.
