Avaibility Burp Suite Enterprise edition

Hello Support, How do I provide availability with the Enterprise edition? In other words, how do you guarantee availability for the Enterprise edition? For example, redunancy with the Enterprise server, or redunancy with the embedded webserver. Best regards, Nick

Hi Could you tell us a bit more background on your scenario(s), please? Do you have the Enterprise Server, database and agents installed on different machines? Are you thinking of a scenario where there's an issue with a particular component, if so, which one?

Hello, We have 1 Enterprise server with webserver and database server on the same machine. We have also two agents on different machines. But the agents is not really a problem, because they are scalable. But if the enterprise server is going down, there isn't faillover or something. Or should this be controlled by software that controls the VM's like VMware

We don't currently support high availability by design. We do recommend taking a regular db backup so data can be recovered. One other thing to note is that the Enterprise Server license can only be installed on one server. If you were in a situation where you had to re-install the Enterprise Server you would need to contact our licensing team. If you wanted to have a second server running Enterprise ready to take over then this would require an additional Enterprise Server license. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
