Automatic backup prefix

Hi, it would nice to have an option to set prefix for automatic backup file name. When I am working on project1, I would like easy to set up prefix 'project1'. Then I can switch i.e. to project2 etc. Thanks Frantisek Uhrecky

Thanks for this request. Actually, we're working on something that should be even better, and will do away with the current state file / automatic backup feature altogether. In future, you will create a project file for each separate engagement/project that you work on, and give the file a suitable name. Burp will then save all its data incrementally in real-time into this file. If Burp closes abnormally, you can reopen (instantly, no restore process) the project file and pick up where you went off. We're hoping to have the new feature available within approximately two months.

This will be released in v1.7. We don't currently have a release date.
