anti forgery check fail

Atif | Last updated: Jan 01, 2020 01:46PM UTC

I am not able to log in or even reset my password on chrome. it is giving some kind of error as anti forgery check fails. The following are the message that I am seeing. The anti forgery check failed. This could happen if your session has expired or if your browser is providing a cached version of the page or blocking cookies. To solve this problem, we recommend clearing the cookies and cache for our website and then performing a hard reload of the page. If the problem persists, please contact us. I tried clearing cookies and cache and also done hard reload but still the same message I am getting.

Hi, have you tried using a different browser to log in?

This happened to me too. I tried clearing the cache and restarting the browser - both on Firefox and Chrome and same thing. I am using Ubuntu 20.04. I had to open a new account under a different email (oulook.com) Would Portswigger be blocking emails addresses at the protonmail.com domain? We're not all criminals you know LOL :-)

One more thing. My Firefox is locked down (see Michael Bazzell's book on Privacy). That is also triggering the anti-forgery check. I have to use Chrome.
