Always requires a log for the audit trail

Hi We always need a log every time. Can I write the settings in the configuration file or startup options? Or othere nice way. Thanks

The reason these settings were not originally persisted was that all settings were saved in the user's profile, and people generally don't want to save their activity to the same log files when working on different pieces of work. Now that Burp projects exist, and per-project settings are stored in the project file, we plan to move the logging settings to the project level and make them persistent. So at least when you resume a piece of work, your logging will go to the same place.

Just to let you know that as of today's release (1.7.16), logging options have now moved to the project level and are persisted in the normal way as for project-level settings. Thanks for your feedback.
