Hi, Yesterday I have update my Burp Professional to v2020.6. It is throwing error for all HTTPs sites. "The client failed to negotiate a TLS connection to www.xxx.com:received fatal error certificate unknown. OS: MacOS Mojave Java Version: 11.0.2 Using Platform installer. Please help me.

Hi Hitesh, Can you try using a more updated version of Java? The platform installer is configured to use OpenJDK 14+36 by default. You can download this from here: http://jdk.java.net/archive/

After resetting my firefox and android device(factory reset) it started capturing traffic but now iOS is throwing the error. "Safari Cannot open the page" "the error was: FetchEvent.respondwith received an error: type error: the certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to b "www.xxxyyy.com", which could put your confidential information at risk. OS: MacOS Mojave Java Version: 11.0.2 Using Platform installer. iOS version: 12.4

Can you please try again using Java 14? The latest platform installer does not use Java 11. Are all sites affected? Have you trusted the certificate? Is the iPhone jailbroken? Can you try disabling TLS 1.3 too? You can do this under Proxy > Options > Proxy Listeners > Edit > TLS Protocols > Use custom protocols > deselect TLSv1.3 If you continue to face issues, please email us on support@portswigger.net with further details.
