Add checkboxes for entries in "Platform Authentication"

Davy | Last updated: Mar 07, 2018 08:54AM UTC

Hello, Authorization checks with Burp could be faster if it was possible to have multiple creds, with checkboxes, for a same host in Platform Authentication. You'd be able to do your tests using creds A then uncheck them and check creds B instead, do your tests, etc... Do you think you could add this ? Thanks Davy

Have you tried using the Save and Load options in the Platform Authentication console to change credentials?

If you are talking about the Save/Load options of the User or the Project options yes I know them but checkboxes would be really better for fast switching. Exactly as in the Upstream Proxy Servers just below. Each proxy has a checkbox in the "Enabled" column. So after adding many proxies you can quickly use one or the other by checking/unchecking the checkboxes.

We've added this request to our development backlog. Unfortunately, we can't provide an ETA.

Amit - Thanks for the suggestion. We'll bear this in mind when we come to work on this feature.

Can we also have the option of adding a URL which might include the host , protocol and the port number / sub directory since we have multiple websites hosted on the same server but some are on different ports and some in different sub folders. We want to have all the authentication info at the same place and it should work based on the complete base url e.g. https://www.domain.com:8080/Web1/Login.aspx https://www.domain.com:8060/Web2/Login.aspx https://www.domain.com:8080/Web3/Login.aspx and each has different credential but all are part of the same application

Thanks Paul for the acknowledgement. Do you have an estimated timeline when will this feature be available or implemented in future. Thanks Amit
