Ability to time requests?

joneskla | Last updated: Jun 30, 2020 11:09AM UTC

I would like to know if there's a feature in the intuder/repeater to send requests in a specific time either configuring the request to trigger at a time (hh:mm:ss) or making it trigger by unix time, if this feature doesn't exist is there any extension that does this ??

Hi. In Burp Pro, the only scheduled task you can do is pausing and resuming the task execution engine. You can also set Intruder to start an attack after a specific length of time (Intruder > Options > Request engine). I haven't found an extension that seems to have the functionality you want, but all of our BApp Store extensions can be found here: https://portswigger.net/bappstore There are also many extensions that people have publicly available that may not be on the BApp Store. If you still can't find something that suits your requirements, you could try writing your own extension. You can find more information on doing that here: https://portswigger.net/burp/extender
