Linkage error - can't open burp

I get this error message upon opening burp Error: LinkageError occurred while loading main class burp.StartBurp java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: burp/StartBurp has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 65.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 61.0 I have already update my java using "sudo apt-get install openjdk-17-jdk openjdk-17-jre" and it's still doesn't work.

Hi Jocelyn, If you are trying to run the latest versions of Burp then there is a requirement to use Java 21 now. Are you able to obtain this version of Java and try this again?
