burpsuite_community_windows-x64_v2024_2_1_5 does not match its checksum

The community edition burpsuite_community_windows-x64_v2024_2_1_5 does not match its checksum for either SHA 256 or MD5. The file has been downloaded several times, and the result is always the same. "SHA256 F378A5B5C79A08E2A2B509EEEB65DCAC8B3B496F598C2C3EFDB6FC746EFE2FBB" However, per https://portswigger.net/burp/releases SHA256: db8551ff3a80f311235f2a779953bcf2a7daed2a08fe051a7ec55bc9dfd70c79 Perhaps there was a typo when updating the page because the file has been downloaded several times, and it is always the same checksum. My solution was to get a different release for which the checksum did indeed match. This is an excellent product, so am happy to get a different release.

I found the issue, and it was ... me! The checksum of course changes between professional and community versions. the checksum display defaults to the professional version. Ensure the dropdown says 'community', then select "view checksums".
